Steps to Create a Membrane Keypad

Design Your Layout:
- Decide on the number of buttons and their arrangement. A common layout is a 3x4 grid.
- Create a design on paper or digitally that includes the button labels.

Create the Conductive Layer:
- Cut a sheet of your conductive material to match your design. If using copper tape, cut strips that fit your layout.
- Place the conductive material on the bottom side of the button layout you designed.

Create the Insulating Layer:
- Cut a piece of insulating material to the same size as your conductive layer.
- Punch small holes in the insulating layer where the buttons will touch the conductive layer.

Assembly:
- Stack the insulating layer over the conductive layer, ensuring that the holes align with the buttons.
- Secure the layers together with adhesive or double-sided tape.

Wiring:
- Use wires to connect each button's conductive pad to the microcontroller.
- Make sure to set up a grid or matrix for easy identification of button presses.

Programming the Microcontroller:
